Help with the Urban Biome app for iPhone and Android, published by Urbanbiome Ltd, trading as Urban Biome.
Contact us
For help with the app, or questions about your account or your data, email us:
Email: support@urbanbiome.co.uk
Tell us which phone you use (iPhone or Android) and, if something isn't working, what you did and what happened. A person reads every email.
To report content or a safety concern, see Report content below. For general enquiries, partnerships and press, email info@urbanbiome.co.uk.
Urban Biome is not monitored and is not an emergency service. If something could fall or hurt someone, phone the council, the landowner or 999.
Delete your account
You can delete your account yourself, in the app, at any time: tap your account button (the person icon), then Delete Account. If you can't use the app, email us and we will do it for you.
Our Delete your account page explains both ways step by step, and what is deleted and what is kept.
Report content
If you see a photo, a note or a site that shouldn't be there, you can report it in two ways:
- In the app. Open the site's card, tap the … menu, then Report, to report the site or one observation of it. To report a single photo, open the photo and choose Report. You need to be signed in to report from the app.
- By email. Email reports@urbanbiome.co.uk and tell us roughly where the site is and what is wrong with it. You don't need an account to report by email.
A person reviews every report. We aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. You can also block another person from the same menu, which hides what they post from you.
If a site is on your property, you can remove it from the map yourself: open the site, tap … and choose This is on my property. It's hidden straight away. You need to be signed in. If you can't use the app, email support@urbanbiome.co.uk. Section 9 of our Terms of Use has the details.
